GAEA- Funky Friends: Unusual NC Pollinators and their Jobs

Christy Heisler will be leading a talk on North Carolina native pollinators at this event. She is a local landscape designer who focuses on gardening for native plants and pollinators. This talk will educate students on the importance of leaving leaf litter in the fall for pollinator life cycle completion, what niche roles pollinators serve in the local ecosystem and our lives, and where to look to find some funky new friends in the surrounding Chapel Hill landscapes!
