Hall to Hall-oween is an interactive, community-based program designed to provide students with fun and engaging alternative programming during Halloween week. The event encourages students to connect with various campus partners while promoting safety, wellness, creativity, and professional development in a festive and inclusive environment.Throughout the event, students will have the opportunity to explore several themed stations hosted by different departments across campus. Student Health and Wellness will host an interactive “Choose Your Own Adventure” activity where students can navigate real-life scenarios related to alcohol consumption and substance use, debunk myths, and learn about harm reduction strategies. UNC Police Department (UNCPD) will lead an Alcohol Awareness Simulation using drunk goggles and Mario Kart, allowing students to experience the effects of intoxication on coordination and reaction time in a safe setting. The Career Center will provide on-the-spot résumé support and professional development tips, encouraging students to reflect on their career goals while participating in the Halloween festivities. Meanwhile, the BeAM Makerspace will offer hands-on creative workshops where students can make their own Halloween tote bags, buttons, and other crafts, combining creativity with community engagement. If confirmed, Campus Recreation will host active mini-games or challenges that promote physical wellness and stress relief, while Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services (VPAS) may lead an educational booth centered on healthy relationships, consent, and bystander intervention, empowering students to foster a culture of care and respect. To encourage full participation, each attendee will receive a Bingo Card or Punch Card to complete by visiting each treat station. Students who interact with all or most of the stations will earn CLE credit and be eligible to redeem prizes at the end of the event. Each partner table will serve as a “Treat-o-Treat” stop, where participants can collect candy or small giveaways. Additionally, there will be a designated social space where students can relax, socialize, and decorate values-based pumpkins, creating a safe and welcoming environment that promotes community connection, reflection, and responsible fun.
