NCHEC Collegiate Summit
About the Event The NCHEC Collegiate Summit brings together students and campus/community partners from across the state who are working to strengthen student well-being through substance misuse prevention and recovery efforts in higher education.Students like you are a key part of this work. This summit is designed to give you space to learn from others, share your perspective, and explore how you can help create healthier campus communities for you and your peers. What you can expect: Interactive sessions focused on real-world skills, including conflict de-escalation and navigating challenging conversations A “Do It Live” facilitation lab where you can practice and build confidence leading groups and discussions Conversations on how to engage and collaborate with different student groups and organizations on campus Opportunities to connect with students from across the state who are also working to create change on their campuses Free professional headshots to support your LinkedIn, resume, or student leadership roles This event is organized by the Addiction Professionals of North Carolina and is intentionally hosted at a different college campus each year to bring the summit experience to communities across the state.
