Partnering for Purpose: Micro-Internships that Empower Community Engagement and Nonprofit Collaboration
Micro-internships are opening new doors for meaningful collaboration between UNC and community partners in the arts and nonprofit sectors. This interactive workshop invites students, staff, and faculty to explore how short-term, project-based experiences can create mutual value—building student skills while advancing community goals. Participants will learn practical strategies, hear success stories, and design their own micro-internship concept to strengthen campus-community connections through purposeful, sustainable partnerships.
