Public Policy and Public Administration Networking Event @ NC Capital
The NC State Agency Networking Event will be Friday, November 7 between 2-4pm at William G. Ross Jr. Environmental Conference Center, located on the 4th floor of the Nature Research Center at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. This event is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn about the relevant work and Internship and job opportunities at multiple North Carolina state agencies. This event is in partnership between Duke Public Policy, NC State School of Public and International Affairs, UNC Chapel Hill, and UNC Public Administration. Due to space constraints, spots are limited to the first 27 students who register RSVP Handshake. We will also keep a wait list in case any spaces open the week before the event. As space is limited and to respect your fellow students and the employers, if you RSVP then we expect you to attend. Please ensure your most recent resume is uploaded to your Handshake profile, as we will be sharing it with the employers attending *Not a final list of agencies participating Introductions (2:00–2:30 p.m.)Agencies will have the opportunity to share a short pitch about their organization and any opportunities they are promoting for students and soon-to-be graduates. Speed Networking (2:30–3:30 p.m.) This is each agency’s opportunity to have individual conversations with small groups of students to share more about your agency and answer questions students may bring to the table.
