UNC Computer Science Behavioral Interviewing Workshop

This workshop will feature a recruiter and the UNC CS Career Services Team, who will provide an inside look at how behavioral interviews are structured and evaluated in technical hiring. Attendees will learn: How behavioral interviews are used in tech hiring and why they matter alongside technical interviews What recruiters are actually listening for when asking behavioral questions How to talk confidently about technical projects, internships, teamwork, and challenges How to connect their experiences to skills companies care about (collaboration, problem-solving, impact) Practical tips they can immediately apply in upcoming tech interviews
