Voices and Cultural Studies Alumni Panel

The Voices & Cultural Studies Panel will center on disciplines that examine culture, identity, history, and lived experience. Featuring alumni from African/African-American Diaspora Studies, Asian & Middle Eastern Studies, Latin American Studies, and Anthropology, this panel will explore how these majors cultivate skills such as cultural analysis, qualitative research, storytelling, and cross-cultural communication. Panelists will reflect on how understanding communities, narratives, and social contexts has shaped their professional paths and everyday work.
The Virtual Panel will highlight how students develop transferable skills (research, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking) and how these skills translate into different pathways and a wide range of careers. The panel will be moderated by a faculty member who will guide the conversation through structured questions and discussion.
